The Security & Safety Diploma is a specialized training program offered by the Continuing Education and Community Service Center at the University of Prince Mugrin. It prepares qualified personnel capable of applying security and safety standards across diverse work environments — industrial, healthcare, commercial, and governmental — amid the growing global focus on protecting people and property from hazards such as fires, industrial accidents, natural disasters, and security threats.

The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical application in risk management and assessment, occupational safety and health, fire prevention and firefighting, emergency and evacuation planning, crisis management and post-disaster recovery, and incident-scene handling, alongside an introduction to the relevant local and international legislation and regulations, modern surveillance and alarm systems, and specialized safety-data management software.

It is an intermediate professional diploma delivered over two academic years with a total of 60 training hours. All lectures and exams are conducted remotely in the evening period — making it possible to balance study with work commitments — and admission requires a high-school certificate.
